Failing anything else at present available within this market, this app is a reasonable first offering in an area that needed such a practice app for FPV and general quad simulation. The price is a bit high at this point for what is included as out of the four sceneries available, only the Factory environment – itself fairly minimalist – is really of any interest. However, the sea-scene offers some possibilities that could also have been extended. Detail is good and the actual quality of the graphics allows for useful 3D depth-perception – which is really necessary for this kind of SIM That said – its still a good start. Only three models are offered and two of these are cosmetically similar so really offer no specific differences between each of them them. There are only Quad-Xmodels as well – no ‘Octos, Octo X, Hexas of any kind or Tri-tails etc. I also feel that the “Out of Range” warning should be an optional On/Off situation – though I imagine the main reason for this has more to do with the limitation of the mapped sceneries than a concern for “operational reality”. In fact as there is a growing sector of ‘Copter owners who are using OTH (Over The Horizon) equipment, this app might be advised to eventually take this into account. Handling of the models is fairly realistic when using the RC Sim controllers – using the Accelerometer function is, in my opinion, a waste of time. This si not what this app is about. As there really is nothing similar at this time available, I would nevertheless recommend this app for anyone who is genuinely interested in getting some pre-real FPV practice. One would nevertheless hope that the Author is going to quickly produce some additional sceneries – or at the very least, populate the existing ones in a more interesting manner.

A Phantom is easier to fly but the cheaper copters behave very similar to this simulation - great practicing app! Even the sound of the 4 motors with differing speeds depending on the action is changing realistically - love it! I reduced some of the settings to adapt the dynamic behavior to my expectations, then it felt like the real thing.

I purchased this to practise before my phantom 2arrives. Its better than I expected. Even better with the last update!

This is the best Quad practice tool I have found as as app so far. Well done , and looking forward to further versions.

love it does what i hoped for and more

After I get used to really good sims for desktop. This app makes up lost time when youre away from computer. Whats awesome - it lets you control the quad using MFi controller. There is a Google Cardboard support that simulates FPV experience using your iOS device in goggle. Im giving it a four stars rather than five stars due to broken VR function in iOS 9.

This is the only one really can take the roll of the most realistic quadcopter simulator. There is nothing else.

Just bought it and it crashes every 30 seconds.... I want my money back!!!!!!

Positives: 1) Someone finally attempted a quadcopter simulator for iOS. 2) Physics are pretty accurate. 3) Ability to practice FPV in your downtime without ruining your $1000 bird. Downfalls: 1) Only two flight modes available (alt hold and acc walk) and no basic RTL option. 2) Paradise flight setting doesnt work worth beans on my iPhone. 3) No gimbal maneuverability for practicing AP. Overall: It was worth the measly $3 I spent on this app.

This is exactly what I wanted. A perfect simulator so I can learn the basics of FPV flying. The challenges are fun. Well made. A few interface and spelling inconsistencies. The flying is fun and quite challenging. Seems realistic enough.

Probably worth $1. Physics are pretty accurate. Lots of limitations. Alternate scene doesnt work well on ipad2. Id ask for my money back.

Before the app coaches its just like flying my drone. But the app seems to crash every time I use it. Hope they fix it soon.

I like this simulator and it has helped me learn to pilot my quad, but the frustrating thing is that it often just quits in the middle of a session.

Great tool for quad practice without worrying about dead batteries or broken props. Perfect for newbie to get the idea of how the controls function.

This is a great simulator for learning how to fly a quadcopter, it just needs to be updated to work with the iPhone 6 in landscape mode.

I dont usually write reviews but it should be known that this is probably the best quadcopter sim out there. It is extremely useful for practice flying and allows the user to fully adjust the flight parameters of the quad. The maps arent half bad either.

This app is great for training yourself how to fly quad copters without stabilization and also how to fly a more modern onwith GPS and barometer that fly with an automatic hold. Are you specially like the feature of flying FPV and having the option of having a fixed camera or one that is on a gimbal. I really think that this is a great FPV trainer. Some improvements that I would like to see are better graphics for the newer generation iPhones and iPads, more flying locations and the ability to fly more commercial aircraft such as those by DJI. GREAT APP!
